MEGA 4 is developed for use
on Microsoft Windows® operating systems: Windows
95/98, NT, 2000, XP and later, and Vista. MEGA 4 can also be used on Linux-based systems using WINE. We recommend a
computer with at least 64 MB of RAM, 50 MB hard
disk space, and an entry-level Pentium processor
or equivalent. For analysis of large datasets,
you should have a faster processor and larger amount
of physical memory for efficient computation.
MEGA 4 can also be run on unsupported operating systems for which Windows emulators are
