It is impossible to align the sequences by ClustalW under standard conditions.
I didn´t find the valid format of numbers while deciding ClustalW options, i.e. system is working with the full number (for example 6) but not with decimal (6.66).
The SW is primarily working in country-specific format (taken from Windows) so the all numbers should be re-writen to English format (i.e. 6,66 in Czech but 6.66 in English). This problem never hapenned in the version 7 or older ones (Mega was reflecting specific conditions of Czech operation system) .
SW is returning error message (in attachment) and after it is frozen, it is not possible to continue work or (at least) correctly close Alignment Explorer.
1) Edit/build alignment
2) retrieve sequences from file (fasta or mas)
3) align by ClustalW
4) Clustal options (all numbers are "black" - valid)
