MEGA 5.2.1 (MacOSX 10.6 and above)

MEGA 5.2.1 is provided FREE for use in research and education (see terms below).

Notice: Most Mac users have reported positive experiences when using MEGA with the Wineskin wrapper and installer that we provide. However, we also have recieved feedback from some Mac users that have experienced stability issues. If you are one of the Mac users who experiences problems with the wrapper that we provide, there are alternative options for running MEGA on a Mac system. For instance, MEGA can be run using virtualization or emulation software. Many options for doing so are available including Parallels, Crossover, VMWareFusion as well as others.

To download MEGA 5.2.1, please fill in the following information. This will enable us to provide information about future upgrades and software bugs to you. Also, it will allow us to assess the impact of this software.

This version is for MacOSX 10.6 and above only. It is NOT intended to be used on Windows or LINUX systems, as it has not been optimized for those platforms.

System Requirements

This version of MEGA is developed for use on MacOSX versions 10.6 and above on computers with Intel processors only. To use MEGA for MacOSX 10.4 and below or Mac classic, an emulation environment is required, more information is available Here For using MEGA on other systems please go back to the main page and click on appropriate operating system icon. MEGA for Mac uses the Wine program in order for MEGA to run. Wine is installed automatically when you run the application for the first time.
