| Description | I am able to align my sequences using the Alignment Explorer, using the Muscle Alignment tool. I can save the file. I can then export the file in the MEGA format. However, when I try open this file MEGA main menu I get an "Access Violation" error message. | ||||||||

Hi Zoe, I am writing in response to the bug report you recently submitted regarding the MEGA software. The error you encountered is caused by a double-quote character in the alignment in the "Zea Mays" sequence at position 2,745 (see attached).
